Money! Money!

Money! Money!

We all need it, want more of it, and can manage it better.

What is it? Clearly, it's money.

Is it really the root of evil today, as some claim?

Absolutely not!

This common misconception of money as evil is cleared up by going to the source
(1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
However, we are equally admonished for not providing for our loved ones.
(1 Timothy 5:8

“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”

The Bible clearly calls for us all to be good financial stewards.
(Proverbs 13:16) “A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn’t, and even brags about it!”
(Proverbs 21:5) “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”
(Proverbs 30:24-25) “Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise: Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;”
(Luke 14:28) “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
